In The Round Tour
2024
BUNT.’s In the Round concert design flips the traditional DJ show on its head. Instead of a raised booth at the far end of the venue, the duo takes command from a central island stage, surrounded completely by fans. This 360° setup removes the concept of “front row” and turns the entire crowd into the heart of the performance. Every drop, build, and melodic hook radiates outward, creating a pulse that moves through the room like a living wave.
Lighting designer Tony Caporale of Infinitus Vox builds on BUNT.’s euphoric, melodic house sound by crafting a “perimeter of light”—20 Color STRIKE M strobe-wash fixtures encircle the floor, firing off bursts of color and rhythm that sync perfectly to the beats. In the corners, COLORado PXL Bar 8 battens tilt and sweep overhead, filling the air with vibrant beams and tinting CO₂ blasts to match the emotional arc of the set. Every angle gets the same high-impact view, and the lighting adapts to each venue to maintain a consistent, cinematic feel. The result is a show that feels less like a performance you watch and more like a party you’re part of.
"BUNT shows don't follow your typical format, where fans are barricaded off from the stage. There are no boundaries. Bunt’s DJ booth is smack dab in the middle of the venue floor with the audience surrounding him. He wants to share the experience with the fans up close and personal."

How we got there
Every fan wants to get closer to the artist on stage. Every true artist wants to reach out and connect more intimately with fans. This show is a 360 in the round show with an audience surrounding the artist. No barriers- just vibes with the fans.
Two key objectives to completing the design was to create a perimeter on the outskirts of each venue to engulf the crowd in light. Next, we had to create an epicenter of light for Bunts DJ table so with high powered strobes underneath and led battens lining the shape of the table made it feel like an energy source.
With lighting keeping the key aesthetic of the design intact, aerial effects of lasers, CO2 blasts, and confetti were deployed throughout the show. The CO2 was particularly interesting during this tour as it came horizontally across the room- engulfing the venue in the effect, especially for the big drops musically.
Using varied gobo patterns visually wrapping the venue was another different process when it come to very beat driven lighting.
Having the ability to add this nive texture allowed for a nice escape at times.
Tony collaborated with Bunt and his team to curate different configurations to expand and compress the “In The Round” design keeping the entire venue engaged with the production. Pulling off such a seamless 360-design over an extended tour required close teamwork with Nick Groff and Michelle Ronson of “Rare Society” Management; Andrew Plavnik, the Tour/Production Manager; Louis Kortmann, the Creative Director/Videographer; Destin Klug and Kirby Naylor (Lighting Directors in US and Canada, as well as Will Flavin- Lighting Programmer and Nic Cascino of Creative Management.
