"Turizo turned Madrid into his home with a nearly non-stop party… the stage evoked the feel of an apartment, adding a ‘homey’ vibe"

201 is an immersive live show conceived as a house, inspired by Manuel Turizo’s own apartment in Colombia, where architecture, music and visual storytelling converge.
Set within a brutalist-inspired environment, the stage unfolds across a single day, following the passage from dawn to night.
Rather than relying on traditional set changes, the space itself transforms through light, color and atmosphere, creating a cinematic experience that blurs the line between architecture, editorial design and live performance.

How we got there
The show that was conceived as a house, as a home. Inspired by Manuel Turizo’s apartment in Colombia, the stage was designed as a single architectural environment meant to be inhabited over time rather than a sequence of changing sets. The idea of home (as a private, working, lived-in place) became the structural framework of the show, abstracted into a spatial system capable of shifting throughout the night with different interactions in each room.
The environment took the form of a brutalist-inspired house defined by clear geometry, structure, and color palettes. Built through a close collaboration between Corinne Merolla and Sooner Routhier, combining architectural thinking and lighting as a spatial tool, the design prioritized legibility and continuity. Instead of scenic transitions, the same structure remained present for the entire show, with domestic zones suggested through its narrative, depth, framing and interaction in the different rooms.
The show followed a 24-hour cycle, moving from morning to night. Time was expressed through controlled changes in light, color temperature, contrast, and shadow, allowing the space to evolve emotionally while remaining physically consistent. The architecture did not change, it responded.
Lighting was integrated as part of the architecture, using shadow and illumination to define planes, edges, and volume. Movement and color were applied with restraint, favoring atmosphere and continuity over spectacle. Visually, the show leaned toward an editorial and cinematic language, resulting in a continuous experience where architecture, light, and performance worked together as a single system.

“Turizo’s ‘201’ tour stands out for its cohesive visual identity, where staging, lighting and mood work together to support the emotional arc of the show.”

"He staged the concert almost like his own house, with every room and space made his own in each song."
